Good news for readers and authors

Last week it was all about The Fussy Librarian, a great way for readers to get personalized reading recommendations emailed to them.

Now here’s another cool way for authors to make their work known and for readers to discover new favorites. It’s called Bublish. I think this is really attractive and if you find a work intriguing you can order it right from the book “bubble” by clicking on the book cover image.

Here’s another cool development. has decided to drop the payment threshold. Readers probably don’t know that authors haven’t gotten paid until they have earned a minimum amount. I have had international sales but not enough to meet the payment threshold so I’ve had royalties held hostage.

But from this point forward, 60 days after a sale all those dollars, pounds, rupees and other coins of various realms will be making their way to my account. Good news all around.
