Old Town Festival

Port Aransas MuseumThe Old Town Festival  on Saturday, Oct. 15 is the annnual membership drive and fundraiser for the Port Aransas Musem which is seeking to raise $50,000 to qualify for a matching grant for the Reborn Farley Boat Works. A longboard surfing contest will run from 8 a.m. to noon. Contact the Board House Surf & Skate at 509 N. Alister for more information about the contest. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at festival headquarters on the grounds of the Community Presbyterian Church, 113 S. Alister St., will run into 4 p.m. and will include a parade, storytelling, drawings for prizes and activities for kids.
