Dog costume contest was the cat’s meow

Animal Friends of Port Aransas Howl-O-WeenThe Howl-O-Ween event held Sunday in Roberts Point Park as a fundraiser for the Animal Friends of Port Aransas was a treat — and there were some tricks, too. Dogs not only competed in a costume contest but showed off their talents as well. Outfitted with umbrella and slicker, one little four-legged cutie did a rain dance to try to bring some precipitation to our area. There were so many contests and prizes, practically every contestant came away a winner.
